MediaSession Provider is an extension that provides relevant media data from Yandex Music and VK audio. The extension provides media keys as well as the album art of the music Yandex Music or VK is currently playing. It’s like having a built-in media player. MediaSession Provider is also available for download on Firefox.
As of this writing, Zhanibek Adilbekov – the developer of MediaSession Provider – has yet to update the extension to support other media platforms such as Deezer, Soundcloud, and YouTube. The developer also plans to add video support for VK. If you’re an active VK user or often use Yandex Music, you should download MediaSession Provider to your browser.
